Rebecca Berens, MDParticipantOur Interdisciplinary Case Consult: Weight-Neutral Metabolic Care group is restarting for 2026! This group meets monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 12pm-1pm central time. Our first meeting for 2026 is tomorrow, January 29 at 12pm.
This consult group was created because supporting clients with disordered eating and chronic dieting — especially when navigating new complexities like GLP-1 prescriptions — can feel complicated and isolating. You’ve probably found yourself wondering things like:
“The doctor doesn’t get it — why am I advocating for things that shouldn’t fall on me?”
“How do I support my client without stepping outside my lane?”
“My patient is being started on a GLP-1 and has an ED history. How can I help monitor safely?”
“What if they’re losing weight in recovery? How do I support them while honoring the complexity?”
You’re not alone in this — and you don’t have to hold it all on your own. That’s why this group exists: a casual, collaborative discussion space (not a lecture or top-down training) where dietitians, therapists, and providers can come together to:
Navigate real cases
Think critically about weight-neutral metabolic care
Learn from one another’s perspectives
Build community in a safe, respectful spaceEvent Details:
Last Thursday of every month | 12–1pm CST

When you register, you’ll now be added to a recurring Google Calendar invite so you never miss a session. You’ll also get the chance to submit cases or questions in advance — or bring them live to the group.Register here to join the monthly case consult group!
We’d love for you to bring your questions, your curiosity, and your expertise to the table. Let’s continue learning from one another, holding the nuance, and building a more connected care community together.
Looking forward to continuing these conversations together,

Guy FelderParticipantGlad to hear these are up and running again! I wasn’t able to join today, but I hope to in the future.
(I also lost your email when I left my internship site — would be great to connect 1:1 again — Guy@guyfelder.com) -
