Registration is now open for our next HEDS Membership meeting.
Topic: Title: Life and Death Decisions: Suicide and Eating Disorders

Dr. Nicole Siegfried, the Chief Clinical Officer for Alsana Eating Recovery Communities, will discuss why individuals with eating disorders are at high risk for suicide. General practice clinicians report that suicidality is their greatest feared patient problem, yet the majority of providers have received less than two hours of training in suicide assessment and intervention. This presentation will be an intensive advanced training in suicide assessment and intervention specific to eating disorders and will provide attendees with the most up-to-date best practices for treating suicidality in eating disorders.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 12:00pm-1:30pm at Seasons 52 Restaurant in the Napa Room (4410 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77027).
Please register by 6pm Tuesday July 30, 2019. We have a maximum capacity of 40 registrations for this event.
