Friendly reminder ~ proposal submissions for breakout speakers will close this Friday, October 18th!
If you feel like you’d be a good fit and would like to submit a proposal, please complete this form ASAP. Please pass this along to any clinicians who you feel would be a good fit for this conference as well.
The 2025 HEDS Professional Conference will take place in-person on March 1, 2025.
We are seeking dynamic speakers who are able to bring passion and new ideas in alignment with our conference theme – The Ethics of Modern Eating Disorder Care: Exploring Nuances & Opposing Perspectives.
We’re looking forward to reading through proposals highlighting areas in our field that are challenging the status quo and/or on the “up and up” to becoming more normalized and helpful for our clients. This can include, but isn’t limited to, GLP-1 and medications, meal plans for clients with ADHD, weight targets in ED care, faith in ED treatment, 12-step programs in ED care, movement and high intensity training in ED treatment, harm reduction, etc.
A blind proposal selection will take place by the HEDS Board Members to choose the final presenters. Each breakout speaker will be compensated $500. We look forward to reviewing the proposals!
