Good afternoon! Does anyone have any referrals for a sports psychologist? I have a client who is 18 years old and an athlete. She will be heading to college in August, and mom would like her to be evaluated for a possible eating disorder.

Methodist has a few sports psychologists that the family can look into. Methodist works with members of Houston’s sports teams and the Houston community.

Hi Michelle,
I’d love to have the chance to work with this client! One of my areas of specialty is athletes, and I can evaluate for an eating disorder, as well as discuss balancing athletics with a sustainable relationship with food and her body. I’m also happy to coordinate with either her coaches or the athletic trainers for the team.
