Hello All, I am looking for clinicians for a 12 year old female who has a “medical syndrome” causing weight gain, has disordered eating and is questioning her gender. She has Aetna but will go out of network if necessary. Thanks!

I would be more than happy to see her for therapy as long as she is being medically monitored as well. I would love to collaborate with her physician to rule out any medical causes but I’m very comfortable treating a 12 y/o and have expertise in treating adolescents questioning their gender. I previously worked full time in an outpatient ed clinic in Kansas City and I’m new to Houston. My practice is in Sugar land (if they’re willing to drive) and I’m working on changing my credentialing info with Aetna as I was paneled with them in KC. Let me know if I can help!
