DBT teaches skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships and focuses on providing therapeutic skills in four key areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. The goals of the group are to teach skills that enable you to regain control of your emotions, actions, and reactions, and live a life of contentment. The DBT Skills Group can help you accept who you are, while also helping you acknowledge your challenges and the benefits of change of unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
DBT Skills Groups have shown to be helpful for:

- Anxiety

- Bipolar Disorder
- Personality Disorders
- Eating Disorders, especially Emotional Eating, Binge Eating, and Bulimia
- Substance Use Disorder
The DBT group meets virtually every Tuesday from 6-7:30 pm. The cost is $75 per session.
