I have a client who is returning to Texas A&M in the spring after ED treatment this fall. Myself and her therapist are seeing her virtually, but I would love to find someone in person for her in College Station she could check in with- like a PCP or similar. Are there any resources on campus for continued ED recovery? Anyone have any leads?

I have worked with Dr Ponder through the student health clinic and she’s great. They do require for you to send over an order for her to meet with her, so you can call the health clinic or email uhspatientservices@tamu.edu to coordinate that before your client calls to schedule. They will also do blind weights and email them to you weekly.

Resources in College Station are VERY limited. There are three therapists here (myself, Lauri Baker Brown, and Kylie Boardman) who specialize in treating EDs and one dietitian (Stephanie Hammons). As far as PCPs go, Dr. Gayle Ponder at TAMU is our best option for medical oversight for students, but honestly, we’re referring to Houston providers mostly.
