November 5, 2019 11:00am-1:00pm Laundry’s in The Woodlands: “The Fantasy of Weight Loss Miracles: Myths, Frauds, Scams, Gimmicks and History” This presentation takes you on a brief journey over a century long collection of a plethora of diets, supplements, medications, procedures, and devices that people unknowingly put their faith in despite having no convincing evidence that they were deceived, cheated and scammed.
November 5, 2019 6:00pm-8:00pm Ouisie’s Table in Houston: “The Fantasy of Weight Loss Miracles: Myths, Frauds, Scams, Gimmicks and History” Same as above
November 6, 2019 11:00am-1:00pm Whiskey Cake in Katy: “How Much Snooze Can You Afford to Lose: Sleep Hygiene and Recovery” This presentation addresses the challenges of sleep and therapeutic intervention that will assist those who treat eating disorders.
November 6, 2019 5:30pm-7:30pm Christopher’s Grill Bryan College Station: “The Influence of Nutrition on Brain Repair during Trauma Recovery” This presentation discusses how what we eat and how nutrition has a significant impact on how the brain heals during recovery from trauma.
