Hi everyone-
Anyone have a recommendation for a non-weight shaming orthopedic surgeon in the Katy area (if possible) & Memorial Herman ins for a large body sized woman in extreme knee pain. Current MD won’t do surgery to repair injury till she “loses significant weight” but had limited movement due to extreme pain. Has recommended bariatric which she doesn’t want to do. Any recommendations would be helpful as she is asking for a new MD.
Thanks,
Kristin Niekerk MS, LPC, CEDS
Hi Kristin,
One of my clients with a larger body had a great experience with Dr. Raj Shani. He is affiliated with University of Texas Physicians and Memorial Hermann. His website is: https://www.rajshanimd.com/
Hope that helps! 🙂
