The Healthy Weigh is pleased to announce that Jennifer Windish RD LD has joined the practice and will be seeing clients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:00-7:00.
About Jennifer…
Jennifer’s interest in nutrition started in high school when she ran track and rode horseback competitively. Being a competitive athlete, she understood first hand how nutrition played such a critical role in performance and everyday life. Also, the celebration of food was a big part of her family’s culture growing up, which helped her to learn the many different roles that food and nutrition play in a person’s life.After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from The University of Delaware, where she also completed her dietetic internship, Jennifer began working in the eating disorders unit at the University Medical Center at Princeton, New Jersey. She continued to specialize in eating disorders while working in private practice as well as The Renfrew Center in Maryland. She says, “I find it very rewarding to get to use my education and experience to help others explore what role food plays in their life.”
