I have been hunkered down working on these trainings for 3 (three!) years, with my partner Jennifer Pereira, LPC-S, RD. We nearly did not survive it (being silly).
I have put my entire brain and heart into these trainings, along with the brains and hearts of my partner Jennifer and a team of 22 eating disorder and antiracism specialists. I am beyond proud and tired.

When I myself was a new therapist needing ED training, I began the IAEDP CEDS process and quickly realized how expensive and simply unrealistic it was for me at that time, many years ago. Doing all the work of becoming a ED specialist myself (alongside this incredible community and forever shoutout to DeLinda Spain, LCSW) took years. Jennifer and I have always dreamed of a comprehensive, trustworthy, accessible training – especially for our group practices – and now it is a reality.Specifics:
There are 3 Inclusive Eating Disorder Education (IEDE) Trainings: all totally online and self-paced on an online learning platform: Thinkific.1. Inclusive Eating Disorder Specialist (IEDS) Certification Training: 10 modules, 45 hours of video, and 10 corresponding PDF Manuals (871 pages in total) culminating in a robust Assessment (230 m/c exam and written case conceptualization) that leads to IEDS Certification with a ton of benefits. $1500, no ongoing or membership fees. Free biannual recertification requiring 24 hours of ED specific CEUs.
2. IEDS Comprehensive Training: same training as above, much cheaper, shorter Assessment, and without Certification. $1000, with no ongoing or membership fees.
3. IEDE Foundational Training: 6 modules, 30 hours of video, and 6 corresponding PDF Manuals, and Assessment (155 m/c exam questions). $600 with no ongoing or membership fees.
4. FREE RESOURCES: We know that, even though much cheaper than the IAEDP options, the IEDE offerings are still expensive. It’s important to us to provide as much free education and resources as we can to help folks doing this work themselves (like I did!). We have compiled our best resources, including research articles, books, websites, a giant ED tools & skill list adapted from Recovery Record, podcasts, social media folks, etc., for free for all.
