Welcome to Houston Eating Disorders Specialists › Forums › Houston Eating Disorders Specialists Forum › Psychedelic Medicine Psychotherapy Workshop with Adele Lafrance
*Approved for 6 CEUs through NBCC
*This Saturday, Feb 6th, Register here: https://www.efft-texas.com/psychedelic
We are hosting Dr. Adele Lafrance (creator of EFFT and psychedelic medicine psychotherapy researcher) and Dr. Joe Tafur (physician and epigenetics, trauma & psychedelic medicine researcher) for a 1-Day workshop exploring the role of emotion and spirituality in mental health and how psychedelic assisted psychotherapy is revolutionizing the field of mental health and actually alters gene expression in positive ways. MDMA has received fast track status by the FDA because it was so effective in treating PTSD (>80% remission after 3-6 sessions). Other psychedelics have shown incredible promise in treating Major Depressive Disorder, Eating Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and other mental health issues. Adele will be leading a clinical trial treating Anorexia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder with MDMA assisted psychotherapy in 3 months and will be sharing her experiences using psychedelic medicines to treat eating disorders and other conditions. We will also have a woman who had eating disorder symptoms for 30 years share her story during the workshop, who after doing a course of psychedelic medicine treatment entered recovery.
*Use code 20OFF for 20% off. The workshop will be recorded if you can’t make the whole workshop live.
