Referral needed – Medicaid

Hello!

We are looking for Psychiatrists, Therapists and Dietitians that accept Medicaid. I know it might be difficult, but we are assisting a patient to have a team set once she discharges.

The UT Health the Center for Eating Disorders accepts Medicaid, so we are hoping to be able to assist our patients in a smooth transition to providers that are in network. Alternatively, we would love to know of anyone that provides sliding scales for this population.

Hi Mylene,

I don’t know of any dietitians in Houston who accept Medicaid, but TLB Nutrition in Austin does (and they do eating disorders). Our practice, Space City Nutrition, accepts Medicare + offers sliding scale for Medicaid. We hope to get in network with Medicaid sometime in the next year so can keep you posted on that as well!
