Hello! We are SO excited for the Houston Eating Disorders Specialist Professional Conference that will take place in-person on February 25, 2023.
We are seeking dynamic speakers who are able to bring passion and new ideas in alignment with our conference theme – On the Verge: Innovations in Eating Disorder Treatment.
We’re looking forward to reading through proposals highlighting areas in our field that are innovative and/or on the “up and up” to becoming more normalized and helpful for our clients. This can include, but isn’t limited to virtual treatment, psychedelics (like ketamine assisted psychotherapy), neurofeedback, trauma-informed care, new treatment modalities (like RO-DBT and EFFT), app-based programs, innovations within inclusivity, etc.
If you feel like you are a good fit and would like to submit a proposal, please complete this form no later than Friday, October 28, 2022. A blind proposal selection will take place on by the HEDS Board Members to choose the final presenters. Each breakout speaker will be compensated $500.
