Space is available in our Eating Disorder Therapy group.
This therapy group is designed for adults 18+ that are recovering from an eating disorder such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or compulsive eating. It is also appropriate for anyone who thinks they may have an eating disorder or disordered eating behaviors such as laxative use, food restriction, over-exercise, or bingeing and purging for example.
This group will help clients:
- Learn coping skills for dealing with stressful situations.
- Build self-esteem and improve body image.
- Reduce negative or critical thinking.
- Learn flexible health strategies.
- Reduce or eliminate negative behaviors such as bingeing, purging or excessive exercise.
The eating disorder therapy group will meet biweekly on Wednesdays, 6-7pm. Cost is $50 per session.
