Welcome to Houston Eating Disorders Specialists › Forums › Houston Eating Disorders Specialists Forum › Trauma Sensitive Yoga added to Practice
Hello to all of you
I wanted to share with all of you that I have begun to add Trauma Sensitive Yoga to my practice. I am also available to collaborate with you if you have clients that you feel might benefit from Trauma Sensitive Yoga to their work with you. TIY has been helpful in treating anxiety, emotional regulation and release, impulsivity and reactivity, emotional balance and altering negative states of mind (obsessiveness). It is also beneficial with more intensive issues such as Eating Disorders/body image, effects of trauma, panic attacks, trusting ones body and self worth and value.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (Specialized training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga), LPC-S, and EMDR trained – often combining EMDR with Trauma Sensitive Yoga for a more whole body healing.
You can find out more about my Yoga services at http://www.SensitiveSoulYoga.com
2 locations: Houston (610/TC Jester) and The Woodlands
Thank you
