Our next HEDS meeting will be a different day and time than our typical first Tuesday, every other month. Our next meeting will be in September (vs August) to bring you our special ETHICS and TECHNOLOGY EVENT:

Topic: Technology Assisted Services – A primer!
The potential to use technology assisted services (TAS) in the practice of therapy, supervision,and learning has grown exponentially and continues to grow daily. This training will begin to address these issues and give you a primer on how to implement technology easily and ethically into your practices.

Participants in the workshop will:
–Review some new board rules (for MFTS specifically) in Texas about TAS
–Explore creative ways to engage clients using TAS
–Discuss limits of TAS
–Discuss eating-disorder specific issues and benefits of using TAS
