Our very own HEDS member, Dr. Rebecca Berens, MD, IBCLC will be presenting:
“Medical management of metabolic syndrome from a HAES perspective”
Objectives:
Learn about medications commonly prescribed to patients with metabolic syndrome and how they work
Understand how these medications may benefit your client and how they may affect the work you are doing with your client
Develop skills in collaborating with your client’s physician to advocate for them and to help them advocate for themselvesLunch will be provided by HEDS.
