ParticipantHey Jana, the only book that’s been published for EFFT for teaching emotion coaching skills and written for parents is the “What to say to kids when nothing seems to work”. The examples in this book are geared towards much younger kids, but the core principles in it are still solid. Feel free to text me if you want to talk more, I do lots of EFFT parent coaching for parents of young 20s!

ParticipantHi Vanessa!
Our team of RDs at Mindful Eats would be a great fit. We are in network with BCBS and soon will be in network with UHC and Cigna as well. Everyone on our team has training in FBT and EFFT and takes an individualized approach! We are in person in Montrose, Memorial, and The Woodlands and also work virtually.

ParticipantHey Christina!
I specialize in eating disorders and diabetes (type 1 and type 2) and would be a good fit or Lauren Newman is also really excellent with this niche and has devoted her entire practice to treating those with both diabetes and eating disorders. Her contact is here: https://www.laurennewmanrd.com/.
Best,
Nikki
